Meal Prices 2018-19
Marion Community Schools is excited to announce that EVERY student in our school system, preschool through 12th grade, will get FREE breakfast and lunch in the coming school year.
A la carte items may still be available at some schools for additional cost, but the basic breakfast and lunch will be free for all MCS students. That’s a potential savings of about $100 per month for each student and his or her family!
Preschoolers enrolled in half-day programs get either breakfast (morning classes) or lunch (afternoon classes); those enrolled in our full-day program get both meals.
The free meals are part of the community eligibility provision of the National School Lunch Program run by the USDA.
This means there is no application process for free or reduced-price meals. There are no special requirements. All Marion Community Schools students are automatically eligible for free meals.
However, those who wish to apply for assistance with textbook costs will need to fill out an application during registration (online or in-person).
If you have questions, please contact the Food Service Department at 765-662-2546, ext. 112 or 113. For more information regarding the Food Service Department, including menu information and more, click here.
Lunch: $3.75
