CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATIVE GUIDELINES
Teachers who have completed graduate work beyond the Masters Degree may qualify for the sixth year column on the salary schedule provided.
1. The specialist degree will automatically qualify a person for the sixth year.
2. If a person does not meet the requirements for a specialist degree, he/she may qualify for the sixth year by satisfactorily completing 30 semester hours of graduate credit or 45 quarter hours of grade credit taken after the granting of a Masters Degree, provided not less than 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours are completed in his/her teaching area of assignment.
