Allen Elementary School was recently recognized with an Outstanding/Successful School Award by the Association of Teacher Educators Indiana

ATE-I recognizes outstanding/successful schools that advance educational research-based reforms for the purpose of improving student learning. At the annual ATE-I fall conference in Indianapolis last month, Allen Elementary School was recognized for achievements in the areas of discipline data, achievement score improvements, integration of technology into the curriculum, professional development programs, community/parent connections linked to quality instruction, and a significant school-university partnership.

Allen Elementary School was nominated by Taylor University for its thriving initiatives and advancements in the areas of teaching and learning.

ATE-I looks for schools that deserve to be applauded. Allen Elementary faculty, staff, students, and leaders, including Principal Anthony Williams and Marion Community Schools Superintendent Brad Lindsay, are to be commended for their efforts in obtaining the Association of Teacher Educators Indiana Outstanding/Successful Schools award.
