C-T: No Common Core consensus

As debate over the Common Core standards Indiana was set to adopt continues in the legislature, the Chronicle-Tribune talks with local legislators and school officials about the issue.

“Personally, I’m for the high expectations and the accountability,” Marion Community Schools Superintendent Brad Lindsay told the C-T. “I know our people have been planning for the implementation of the Common Core. What I truly believe is that that has nothing to do with the Common Core. It has everything to do with our teachers, our students and our community. I think that’s what critically important.”
