CANCELED: MCS Kindness Rally
Due to continued uncertainty and concernsurrounding coronavirus / COVID-19, Marion Community Schools has decided tocancel our annual Kindness Rally that had been set for April 3.
The monetary costs associated withwaiting any longer to make this decision, with deposits for rented equipmentdue soon, was one of the factors in our decision in making this announcementnow.
We know our students and families lookforward to this event each year, and we know the announcement of thecancellation will cause disappointment. As of now we do still plan to give outthe annual Kindness Awards, but those will be celebrated at the individualschools instead of the annual Chain Reaction Ceremony.
Thank you for your understanding. Formore information about coronavirus / COVID-19, please visit Marion CommunitySchools’ website, www.marion.k12.in.us.
