All Kendall Elementary School students grades P-4 will be able to pick up their personal belongings left at school during the following times:
Students will not be permitted to enter the building and must be accompanied by an adult; a bag with the contents from their classroom will be brought to them curbside at Door 17.
Information regarding Marion Community Schools' next weekly drive-through food pick-up can be found below.
Food will be available for all children age 18 and younger in Marion, as supplies last. Some requests, for your safety and the safety of all involved:
- When possible, please only have one person per car (the driver).
- Please wear a mask or other covering for your mouth and nose.
- Please stay in your car.
- No walk-ups are allowed.
- No restrooms are available.
- Thank you for your patience!

Five Marion elementary school students earned high honors in the annual Symphony in Color statewide art competition.
All five students earned finalist honors at the state level. Typically, this artwork would be on display at the Indiana State Museum, but because the museum is closed during this unusual time, as part of efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, their art is on display in a virtual gallery: www.indianamuseum.org/symphony-in-color.

Marion Community Schools has provided more than a quarter million meals (nearly 275,000) to our community through our drive-through food distributions in the months of March and April.
We plan to continue these distributions to meet our community's needs.

Marion Community Schools has created a revised calendar for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year, in accordance with instructions from Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb and the Indiana Department of Education.
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide a wide variety of enhanced and blended learning opportunities to our families during this extended school closure, Marion Community Schools is offering paper learning packets for pick-up.
Packets will be available for students in preschool through grade 8. (Packets will also be available digitally from the links below and on our Technology Resources page, but for those who prefer hard copies, we are making them available.)

Marion Community Schools is pleased to welcome Eleese Payne as the next Director of our Special Services Department.
Payne will officially move into this role this summer. She is currently Director of Special Education at KIPP Indy Public Schools, but lives here in Marion. She looks forward to serving Marion families.
