Save money, win prizes at Kendall VIA branch!

Publish Date: 09/29/2014
During October, students who save money through our VIA Credit Union student-operated branch can spin the wheel to win school supplies!

The student-operated branch is a cooperative educational program made possible through a partnership between VIA Credit Union and Marion Community Schools. The mission of the program is to help students learn about money and to establish money management skills.

The Kendall branch is open every Wednesday morning prior to school and accepts deposits only. As an incentive to save at school, each time a student makes a deposit, his or her name is placed into a weekly and monthly drawing. During October, students who make a deposit can can also spin the prize wheel for school supplies!

If you would like for your child to start saving at the Kendall Student Branch, please complete a permission slip and return it along with their initial deposit. Permission slips will be sent home but are also available in the school office.

MCS is grateful for this partnership with VIA. Community partnerships are a win-win for our schools and our community!
