A message from Superintendent Lindsay

Marion Giant families,

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb has ordered all schools to be closed for the rest of the school year to fight the global coronavirus pandemic. Together, let’s all do our part and make a difference in this important fight!

While school is closed, our principals and teachers are offering enhanced home learning activities that students and families can choose to keep the learning growing at home.

Here is where you can find these activities on our website: https://www.marion.k12.in.us/technology/resources

These enhanced learning activities to keep the learning growing at home are optional for our students and families. (Teachers and administrators are or will be working directly with our high schoolers who have specific work required for Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, or graduation qualification, with continued guidance from the state and the organizations who oversee advanced classes.)

Please connect with your child’s principals, teachers, and social workers so we can best support your family while school is closed. You can find their email addresses here: https://www.marion.k12.in.us/district-staff

We love our students, and we love our families! We want us all to be safe and well. We look forward to when school can safely reopen and we can once again connect face-to-face.

Please stay connected with us. Please be safe, and please be well. Thank you for being a Marion CommUNITY Schools Giant!
