In light of COVID-19, the IHSAA has modified the physical exam requirement for participation in school athletics. All athletic physicals completed and submitted for the 2019-20 school year will continue to be valid for the 2020-21 school year.

Marion Community School of the Arts, in partnership with Marion Community Schools, is now taking new enrollment for the CSA Arts Academy for the 2020-21 school year.

Every year, Marion High School hosts the 3.5 Banquet, which honors students who have ended their high school years with a GPA of 3.5 or above.

In addition, each student honoree is able to invite adults who have encouraged them along the way, such as a special teacher. 

This year, due to school closures mandated to help slow the spread of COVID-19, Marion High School put together a virtual 3.5 Banquet. You can view the video here:

All Marion High School underclassmen will be keeping their same lockers for the 2020-21 school year, so there is no need to collect personal items left behind. Personal items will stay in the lockers until we return to school.

If you have an urgent need for an item that was left at school, we can schedule a pickup upon request. Please call or email us if you have an urgent need.

Seniors: On May 14, you will be able to come to the school to pick up cap and gown, awards, locker items; to return your school iPad; and to tape a brief video of your individual graduation moment in your cap & gown to be used in our virtual gradation.

Marion Community Schools is pleased to announce the 2020 inductees to the Marion High School Hall of Distinction.

The selection committee chose eight inductees:

Jerry D. Whitton, Marion High School Class of 1959, longtime teacher and administrator at Marion Community Schools, director of Tucker Area Vocational and Career Center

Mark Tracy Boatwright, Marion High School Class of 1960, Vietnam veteran, firefighter, Marion City Council Member, Indiana State Representative, Indiana Fire Marshal, co-founder of the Hoosier Burn Camp

Marion Community Schools has provided more than a quarter million meals (nearly 275,000) to our community through our drive-through food distributions in the months of March and April.

We plan to continue these distributions to meet our community's needs.
