From Principal Bryant: Let's work together!

Publish Date: 07/30/2021

Greetings, Marion Giant families,

I am equally excited and humbled to serve as Principal of Marion High School.  Through my interactions and observations with faculty, staff, students, and families, I know that this is a special place that is committed to excellence for all students. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of the community.

The values of engaging in meaningful interactions that promote a lifetime of learning and valuing diversity will continue to guide our work. These values are even more relevant as we navigate the ongoing health crisis and address racism’s impact on our students and the school community. Neither of these situations are barriers, instead, they are opportunities for our community to learn how to become even better and reaffirm our Marion Community Schools values.

I come to you with over 20 years of experience in the field of education.  My experience includes: two years as a Director of Principal Development, eight years as a secondary instructional leader, nine years as a middle/high school teacher.

I plan to spend the remainder of the summer working with stakeholders. I will get to know our building and familiarize myself with the unique needs of our school community.

I will work diligently to ensure that every student continues to receive the high-quality education they deserve.  I am looking forward to working together with faculty, staff, and families to best serve our scholars.

Information for an introductory meeting I will be hosting online via Google Meet is listed below. I am looking forward to meeting you all and answering any questions you may have.
