All juniors and seniors are encouraged to take the SAT. Many colleges use SAT scores as part of their admissions process.

HOW TO REGISTER: Click here to register for the SAT online at the College Board's SAT site. This site includes testing and registration dates, as well as fee information. NOTE: You must upload a photo to the website to be admitted to the test.

FEES: Any student who is eligible for free or reduced lunch, resides in a foster home, or receives any other kind of federal assistance is eligible for a fee waiver for the SAT. Students are only given two fee waivers for the SAT test (one for junior year and one for senior year.) Fee waivers can also be picked up in the Student Services Department, but these fee waivers do not cover late fees. Please feel free to contact the Student Services Department with any questions. Information on standard fees is available at the College Board's SAT website

TESTING DATES: Click here to search for testing dates/sites on the College Board's website.

DAY OF THE TEST: Make sure to bring your admission ticket, photo ID, pencils, calculator, and a snack the morning of the test. If you do not have your admission ticket and photo ID, you will not be admitted to take the SAT. Click here for more information from the College Board.

MORE INFORMATION: If you have questions, please see the instructions located in Student Services, or talk to your school counselor.
