Marion High School's FAFSA Help Lab, in partnership with Project Leadership, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 27, in the MHS Media Center (library). Seniors will visit the library during English class, and their parents/guardians are welcome to come at that time, or after school from 4 to 6:30 pm., to get help with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please let your parents/guardians know, so they can plan to attend!
The FAFSA is the only way to access federal and state financial aid so this is extremely important that you complete it on time to keep your options open for continuing education after high school! Most U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens (including U.S. nationals and permanent residents, as well as some other designated resident categories) are eligible for financial aid for college or career school.
Please bring all 2020 tax documents for the student and parents/guardians. Seniors have been given a green folder with additional information as to what to bring. If you did not receive a folder, please stop by Student Services as soon as possible. Students and parents/guardians with Social Security Numbers should have those on hand as well.
If you have questions, please see your counselor in Student Services. Click here to find your counselor and their contact info.
