Tenderloin fry + football Senior Night + dance

Publish Date: 09/29/2016
Next Friday, Oct. 7, is the end of the first nine weeks grading period ... let's celebrate!
  • Before (or during) the football game, come out and support the MHS band program and get some tasty treats from Rock's Concessions. For only $8, you get a tenderloin sandwich, chips, coleslaw, baked beans, and a drink. (If you want only the sandwich, that's $6.) Those interested are encouraged to purchase meal tickets ahead of time; see Cathy Griffin in the District Business Office inside MHS to get yours. You can also call her at 662-2546 ext. 143, or email her at cgriffin@marion.k12.in.us. (Tickets will be available the night of the sale, but they may be limited, and are first-come, first-served.) Meals will be available from 5 to 9 p.m., or until sold out.
  • It's Senior Night for Giants football! Come out and cheer on your team as they face North Central Conference rival Arsenal Tech. The game starts at 7 p.m.
  • After the game, come out and party like it's 1999 at the '90s Dance (a #CAMSTRONG fundraiser) with DJ Showoff in the MHS cafeteria. The dance Friday after the football game will go on as planned. Cameron Washington's family and friends feel this event should go on in his honor. Cam passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5. Admission is $3, and proceeds (and any other donations) will go to his family to help with expenses, just as previously planned. The dance, set for 9 to 11:45 p.m. in the cafeteria, is open only to MHS students. Please bring your school ID with you to be admitted to the dance. (MHS will be hosting a Celebration of Life service for Cam on Sunday. Click here for more information.
