Due to continued uncertainty and concern surrounding coronavirus / COVID-19, Marion Community Schools has decided to cancel our annual Kindness Rally that had been set for April 3.

The monetary costs associated with waiting any longer to make this decision, with deposits for rented equipment due soon, was one of the factors in our decision in making this announcement now.

Because of the school closure on Feb. 27, 2020, due to poor road conditions caused by snow and ice, a make-up day will be added to the end of the school year.

The last student day is now set for May 26, 2020. (May 25 is Memorial Day, so there will be no school that day.)

(This is the third closure of the year; the first coming on Nov. 19, 2019, for the Red for Public Ed rally, and the second on Feb. 6, 2020 due to weather and road conditions.)
