Marion Community Schools was informed Thursday, Nov. 5, that a student who was last at Marion High School on Wednesday, Nov. 3, has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive.

Marion Community Schools was informed Sunday, Nov. 1, that a staffer who was last at Marion High School on Friday, Oct. 30, has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive.

Marion Community Schools was informed Monday, Nov. 2, that one staff member who was last at Riverview Elementary School and Marion High School on Friday, Oct. 30, has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive.  

At the elementary level, with the difficulty of enforcing consistent social distancing, Marion Community Schools utilizes cohorting (keeping groups of students together and avoiding cross contact as much as possible). Because of this, our plans have included quarantining entire classrooms in the event of a positive COVID diagnosis.
