Marion Community Schools was informed Jan. 14 that a student who was last at Marion High School on Thursday, Jan. 13, has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive. In connection with this case, 10 students were identified as school related close contacts and were informed and provided with quarantine and symptom monitoring instructions. 8 of the close contacts were exempted from quarantine due to consistent mask use and/or vaccination or recent COVID-19 infection.

1/14 UPDATE: ALL grades will use virtual learning through Tuesday, Jan. 18. McCulloch Junior High School and Marion High School are dismissing at noon Jan. 14 due to a steep rise in COVID cases and related staffing concerns. Click for more details.

Marion Community Schools was informed Jan. 12 that a staffer who was last at Riverview Elementary School on Wednesday, Jan. 12, has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive. In connection with this case, 4 students were identified as school related close contacts and were informed and provided with quarantine and symptom monitoring instructions.
