All Riverview students and their families are invited to come out and DANCE this Friday!

This special semi-formal event, hosted by the Riverview PTO, will feature a DJ, photo booth, cake and punch, and plenty of fun! The dance will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Riverview.

Let's get all dressed up for the occasion, in dress pants, dresses, skirts!

Please note that students must have an adult with them to attend. If your parent is not able to come, another adult chaperone can come in their place.

We recently received a call stating that someone was going door-to-door, saying they were collecting money for a charity fundraiser through Riverview Elementary. Please note that this is NOT true. In fact, Marion Community Schools policy prohibits door-to-door fundraising.

Riverview will have its first skating party of the year next month! All Riverview students and families are invited.

The party will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Idyl Wyld Roller Palace, 4013 S. Meridian St. (Did you know Idyl Wyld has been open since 1937! Come be a part of a long history of fun!) 

You can purchase tickets at the school office for $1.50, or for $2 at Idyl Wyld. Skate rental is $2.

Riverview Elementary School students will be showing off what they’ve learned during a special event at the school next week.
 
Second-, third-, and fourth-graders have been working on research projects over the last several weeks, and they’ll present their projects during next week’s Research Fair, set from 1 to 2:25 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the school.
 
Parents and other special guests have been invited to attend the presentations.

With the days getting longer and the air getting warmer, students are getting ready for summer.

What: Four weeks of small-group instruction with hands-on activities in math and literacy!

When: 2:30 - 4:30 Tuesdays (Feb. 4, 11, 18, 25)

Transportation: Bus rides home will be provided only to those who already normally ride the bus home. Car riders should be picked up at 4:30.
