My personal goal, as a board member is to...

My goal as a board member is to establish stronger ties between our school system, city offices, and local businesses. I would like to develop and grow current partnerships with other agencies in order to attract families and encourage them to make Marion home. I want to ensure that we put our students’ needs first by making sound financial decisions that allow us to do the most good for the most students.

Why should children attend Marion Community Schools?

Marion Community Schools offers the most comprehensive student care available in Grant County. We have outstanding programs from Pre K to College Prep. Our teachers are striving to meet each student at his or her instructional level, and our corporation has established partnerships with both private industry and social services in order to meet the needs of all our students. MCS Pre K initiative gives children the solid foundation needed to begin their academic careers, and MCS Duel Credit courses save families money by allowing students to receive college credits while still in high school. Marion Community Schools truly educates the whole person.
