There will be a free dental and vision clinic at McCulloch Junior High School, 3528 S. Washington St., on Sunday, Oct. 6, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (This is sponsored by an outside source, but we are providing the location for them to hold the event.) It is a walk-in clinic provided by licensed professionals for anyone wanting a free vision exam or dental care. They will also have glasses available for $10 pair if you choose from their frames. No ID or insurance verification is required.
Marion High School’s state-of-the-art planetarium will put on a special show that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first human steps on the moon, which happened in the summer of 1969. Come learn about the history of humans and space travel — and the milestone that astronaut Neil Armstrong called “one giant leap for mankind”.
The public is invited to MHS for “To Go to the Moon and Back Safely”. The show will last approximately one hour. Showings will be as follows:

Join us for this fun festival that focuses on health and safety. The event will last from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at the Grant County Family YMCA, 123 Sutter Way, Marion. It is open to all families in Grant and Blackford counties with children ages 0 to 12, and it is FREE!

The 2019 show is “Spirits of the Past” — an ode to the storied history of the Marion Marching Giants, and the tradition of Marion Giant Pride that is as strong as ever today!
The free community performance is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Marion High School’s Dick Lootens Stadium. The Marching Giants would like to invite all Marion Community families, staff, and the entire community to come out and enjoy the show!

The Marion Giants Football staff will be hosting skills and drills for kids in grades three through six from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at MHS's Dick Lootens Stadium.
The focus will be on the fundamentals of both offense and defense as well as the opportunity to interact with the current coaches and players. Our goal is to build a foundation within our community and sustain GIANT SUCCESS!
