Grant County Unified Athletics invites you to come out and create your own fun decorative canvas at this special fundraiser that supports the Unified Athletics program in Grant County schools.
Unified Athletics is an extra-curricular opportunity for students with identified cognitive or physical disabilities, who play on teams with their age-appropriate peer helpers. Teams from Grant County schools compete with each other in basketball, bowling, and track. Competitions begin in February.
The Champions and Canvas Fundraiser is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Atrium at Tree of Life Bookstores, 1500 S. Western Ave., Marion. You'll be able to customize your canvas and use your own creative style, to take back to your home or office, or to make as a gift! All supplies will be provided, and there will be step-by-step instruction by local art teacher Shelly Neal. Tickets are $30 per person.

There will be refreshments available, and there will also be booths from each of the five Grant County schools' lifeskills classrooms, featuring items they are selling to support their individual classroom needs. There will be original works of art, baked items, and spirit wear designed by the students.
Come out and enjoy a morning of fun and fellowship as you support this outstanding organization that provides opportunities for our students!
Tickets are available at any of the Grant County Special Education Cooperative offices (in all Grant County public school districts), or contact Lisa Graham at 765-677-4456 or firstname.lastname@example.org to purchase tickets or with any questions. We would love to talk to you about volunteer opportunities, too!
