Don Wood Foundation boosts GRCC advanced manufacturing program

Grant Regional Career Center is excited to be a recipient of a Don Wood Foundation grant of nearly $100,000 to support the expansion of their advanced manufacturing program.
The Don Wood Foundation is committed to education and community development, and this contribution will not only foster growth and innovation in our region, but also empower area students.

"This donation will serve as a cornerstone for the enhancement and expansion of our advanced manufacturing program, providing invaluable opportunities for students to gain essential skills and thrive in the evolving landscape of modern industry."
The donation of $96,036 will enable GRCC to implement state-of-the-art equipment, develop specialized curriculum, and offer enhanced training resources. These will not only enrich the educational experience for students but also align the program with the dynamic demands of the manufacturing sector, ensuring graduates are well-equipped for success in high-demand fields.
As part of its commitment to Grant County, GRCC will continue to work collaboratively with our industry partners in the area, helping to ensure that our students are prepared with skills to meet our local industry needs.
