Indiana House Rep. Lori Goss-Reaves recently visited Marion Community Schools to present a certificate honoring School Board President Todd Nicholson after his Exemplary Governance Award from the Indiana School Boards Association.
“I would like to congratulate you on your many years of dedicated service. Your tireless commitment to serving others makes you most worthy of this award,” Rep. Goss-Reaves said as she presented the award from the Indiana House of Representatives to President Nicholson. “I applaud you and your commitment to excellence, and the continuous positive impact you have made on all those around you.”
President Nicholson said he appreciated his fellow board members electing him to serve as their president for a third time.
“I certainly appreciate their trust in my leadership,” President Nicholson said.
As his fellow Board members talked with Rep. Goss-Reaves, President Nicholson said: “It’s been a real honor to serve with all of them.”
Rep. Goss-Reaves thanked all of the School Board members for choosing to serve, noting that she herself had previously served as a School Board member at another Grant County corporation.
