Marion Community Schools students who are in grades one through eight in the 2025-26 school year are invited to sign up now for the Read, Act, Shine! Camp.
The camp will run from June 22-26 at Justice Intermediate School.
- Grades 1-4 will be here in the mornings
- Grades 5-8 will be here in the afternoons
The Read, Act, Shine! Camp is a five-day program in which students learn and perform through acting, singing, and dancing, culminating in a one-hour showcase. Over four instructional days, students participate in theatre games, character development, vocal practice, choreography, and rehearsals, with K-4 students focusing on creative play and basic performance skills and grades 5-8 developing more advanced acting, singing, and stage presence. High school student leaders support and mentor participants throughout the week. The program concludes with a full-company performance celebrating student growth, confidence, and collaboration.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and transportation is available by request.
